Services: Serves the Middle TN area through six programs at 5 locations: 3 in Davidson County (Nashville, Madison, and Woodbine), one in Williamson County (Franklin) TN. and one Online Campus. Three education programs to men and women: High school Equivalency, English Language Learners, Computer and Job Skills Training (Excel, Outlook, Word, building resume, Internet)

Requirements: Ages 18+ with exception of minors with parental consent. Commit 4-5 hrs weekly

Other: Also offer small classes, one-on-one support and free children’s programming (infants-5th grade) while parents are attending class. The children’s programming will include homework help, craft/playtime and Bible stories.

Services: Become a vendor of The Contributor where you will learn how to sell a street newspaper and create your own microbusiness. Vendors can also access help obtaining documents and housing support.

Application: Must attend training. Trainings take place every Wednesday at noon at the Vendor Office. After completing training you will be an official Vendor for The Contributor with a badge and ready to work!

Services Provided: Equips people impacted by homelessness with the creative resources, training, and marketplace to overcome barriers to employment and income by selling their art, participating in developmental workshops, and establishing vital social networks and relationships.

Services: Employment resources at Nashville Rescue Mission include case managers who will work with guests to find temporary jobs or help them access long-term employment referrals within our partnership network. Employment readiness preparation may consist of help with acquiring identification, birth certificate, transportation support, workforce preparation, financial management, HSE preparation and certification, basic arithmetic, and literacy classes.

Services: Provides a variety of individualized services to people with disabilities in preparation for their employment in the competitive labor market.

Requirements: Must have a physical or mental impairment that presents a substantial barrier to employment that our services would benefit achieving employment. If services are needed to prepare for a job or to get, keep or regain a job.

Services: Free career training program including initial assessment to establish barriers and create a plan, career coaching, a 5 week training camp focusing on time management, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, professionalism and digital literacy. After completing training camp certifications can be obtained in correlation to desired employment., a monthly family dinner is offered to build community and continue training, career coaches will work alongside and help with job placement.
